What's In a Name
The genesis of Allied HOA Partners' name is deeply rooted in the resilience and aspirations of my first-generation American family. Arriving in the United States with nothing but determination, my father and uncles, who were chemists, doctors, and businessmen, sought to build a new life.

In their pursuit, they formed a legal entity with a name that began with "Allied." This choice served a dual purpose. Firstly, it embodied our values, expressing gratitude for the significance of the term in previous world wars—a symbol of welcome to a free world where dreams could be realized. Secondly, strategically, it positioned the company at the forefront of physical directories, reflecting the pragmatic ingenuity of those embarking on a new beginning.

Choosing to name the search fund "Allied" is a heartfelt tribute to the preceding generation. It commemorates their courageous journey—escaping their homes, adapting to a new language and culture, and ultimately prospering in America. The word "Allied" serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by my parents. It reinforces the belief that we inhabit the greatest country the world has ever known, providing the impetus and responsibility to carry forth a legacy nurtured by predecessors who passed the torch, ready to see it burn brightly in my hands.
The Founder
David is the Founder at Allied HOA Partners, bringing a decade of expertise across the real estate and property management sector. David started managing rentals with his father in Southern California while in high-school and college. Post undergrad, David took a job in real estate finance at George Smith Partners (GSP), where he oversaw commercial real estate equity and debt originations and successfully negotiated a $160 million project, navigating intricate stakeholder and community negotiations. He then joined Belong, a single family home property manager, as the first employee. David launched the business and ran strategic initiatives that led to substantial growth, scaling the business to over 200 employees, thousands of units and securing significant capital to grow the business.

After several years of scaling Belong to a nationwide property manager, David had the opportunity with several past colleagues to acquire his previous employer, George Smith Partners. David's return to GSP, this time as part of new ownership, marked a significant chapter, reinstating the firm's eminence in the national real estate capital markets landscape.
After several years at GSP, David has circled back to the property management space, this time focused on HOA as his next entrepreneurial endeavor.
David holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with Cum Laude distinction in Finance from Boston University Questrom's School of Business. Currently based in Irvine, California, David resides with his wife, Dalia, a medical student at UC Irvine. Beyond his professional commitments, he actively engages in team sports, mentors students, and chronicles his family's immigration journey.
